FIBA Commentator: "Sound Stupid" - Gilas Pilipinas in FIBA Asia Cup 2022

Manila, Philippines - When FIBA commentator heard head coach Chot Reyes during the timeout huddle in the a game against the Japanese last Tuesday night, they realized Gilas Pilipinas wouldn't stand a chance against Japan.

One commentator was perplexed since Reyes only drew up offensive plays and not defensive ones.

Gilas Pilipinas is eliminated by Akatsuki Five of Japan last Tuesday, which resulted to a ninth place finish and one of the worst finish of the Philippines since 2007.
