Paolo Banchero contributed 24 points, while Franz Wagner added 19, propelling the Orlando Magic to a commanding 128-116 victory over the Indiana Pacers during their Sunday matchup on the road.
Displaying dominance from the start, the Magic initiated the game with an impressive 11-point streak. By the end of the first quarter, they had built a substantial 42-21 lead, extending it to a staggering 38 points in the second quarter. Although the Pacers staged a comeback in the final minutes, the Magic maintained control, securing their sixth road win in nine games.
Jalen Suggs, returning from a knee injury that sidelined him in their previous victory over Chicago, made a significant impact by contributing nine of his 18 points in the opening quarter. The Magic showcased depth as six players scored at least 13 points, with Moritz Wagner and Cole Anthony adding 16 and 15 points, respectively.
Despite a commendable effort from Pacers reserve Jordan Nwora, who led his team with 19 points, and a second-half rally, the Pacers fell short. Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton struggled in the first half, missing all seven field-goal attempts but managed to finish with 12 points.
Entering the game with momentum from four wins in their last five matchups, including three at home, the Pacers faced a setback against the Magic, who concluded a successful four-game road trip with their third consecutive triumph.
