"Celeste" the Heavenly Blue House, a dainty and chic house design

Colors actually play a major role in building construction industry. It defines the mood and character of someones place or masterpiece. Picking the right colors, will definitely gives an ambiance of relax and eye comfort. Like in what we are featuring today, we proudly designed a dainty and chic home, where we focused on the beauty of color blue, the "Celeste".

"Celeste" or Heavenly Blue, is the colloquial name for the pale turquoise blue color. Italian and Spanish designers often use this shade of blue to their masterpiece, such as artworks, furniture design, interior spaces and of course in their houses.

This house design we are featuring today, is a single storey two-bedroom bungalow, which is a very unique. The exterior design is a a mixed of modern and "pinoy" traditional housing. Giving a fresh look, we incorporated the "Celeste" or heavenly blue color palette, to show how clean and elegant this color when done on a house. Front windows are awning type. The Front door is made of solid core wood. The roof is composed of two shed type roofing. This kind of roofing is oftenly used nowadays in some housing projects here in Philippines. Because of its look, it is the simplest roofing technique in terms of installation and maintenance instead of using the traditional "dos aguas"- gable roof or "quatro aguas" - hip roof, in leiman term.

Here are some of the rendered images from the house.

The house specification is:
  • Single Storey/Bungalow
  • 2 Bedroom
  • 2 Toilet and Bath
  • Kitchen area
  • Dining area
  • Living area
  • Carport provision
  • Roofed Porch
  • Estimated Cost : Php 1.2m to 1.4m ($28,000)
The floor plan has the dimension of  7.8 meters x 10 meters. It is composed of two bedrooms. One with own toilet (Masters Bedroom) and the other one is a guest room. The kitchen is designed into U-type to follow the standard triangle of workstation. Besides the kitchen is the four-seater dining area, which has a wooden table with a modern seats. The wall division of the dining area and living area is designed with a vertical metal frames. The living area is spacious and designed with a modern wall design with wooden cabinets. Outside the house is a roofed porch, which is designed with two columns composed of the decorative stone on the upper part and the "groove" plaster finished on the bottom.

On the left side of the house is the area for car parking. We leave the area open to give client an option to add or remain the area for parking, or if they want it to convert into an extension terrace or simply a garden.

We highly recommend to consult an Architect, in this kind of matter to ensure that the design will follow the standard of the National Building Code.
