Afternoon Tea at Marriott Hotel - UAE

A relaxing and very cozy place in the heart of Abu Dhabi.

My family and I agreed to have afternoon tea at the Marriott Hotel in Abu Dhabi after a long day of work.

The Marriott Downtown Abu Dhabi is a few hundred meters from the Abu Dhabi Bus Station and a short walk from the Al Wahda Mall.

Here's what we discovered inside this hotel.

  

A friendly Marriot Hotel staff will greet you before you enter the reception hall, where you can book your stay for a day or for a whole night.

The venue itself is very cozy and posh, making it ideal for everyone. The ambience that surrounds the place, very majestic interior, will undoubtedly hit your lazy feeling inside the hotel.

We decided to book a day stay to take advantage of the early morning sun and the picturesque view of Abu Dhabi City.

For food, here is what we've got!

Their Green Tea is very relaxing. It has a light flavor. Look how pure and so clear it is.

Dessert is always be my favorite. So here's what we have.

They called it Tower of Joy, well of course, it is not dessert when they don't make you happy lol!. But kidding aside, these set of pastries offered by Marriot Hotel will surely hit your "sweet tooth" because they served a lot of delicious breads, sandwiches, creams and more.

  

At the bottom part of this tray, we have some finger sandwiches, sweet pastries, sconces with cranberry jam and cream.

   

One of my favorite on this set of pastries is the Cucumber with Salmon. A very good combination of cucumber toped with fresh salmon and a fluffy bread makes it more interesting every bite.

Blackberry Pastry Cream is a must try also. The jam itself is not too sweet for those who doesn't like it. Just a perfect combination with the right amount of sweetness in every bite.

They also served this Sconce pastries warm, which mean, they are freshly baked. The Sconce itself smells really good, I can smell some butter on it. There are two dips you can enjoy with, one is a cranberry jam and the other is some cream.

  

They also served different kinds of coffee whether hot or cold, they have it. Take a look on how nice their presentation on this 3 sets of coffee.

For those who are asking, Marriot Hotel charge 120 AED for Adults and 60 AED for kids that are between 6-12 years old.

You also need to have an advance booking for at least 3 hours so they can prepare the place very well.

We enjoyed our stay at Marriot Hotel and I am am sure you will too.
